How the Top 5% ICP signal works
Describe your ICP
Job titles, countries, industries and company sizes. The signal has no setting of its own: your ICP is its question.
Coolie keeps the most active
Among the people who match, it reads what each one posted over the last 30 days and keeps those who posted about once a week or more.
It reads their company
Each lead comes with their company's website, industry, size and headquarters, so it is checked against your ICP like any other, and gets a score.
It researches the leads you pick
For the leads you choose, Coolie writes a research brief (the company's news, the person, the reason to write now) and a personalized email and LinkedIn sequence.
It writes and sends from your own accounts
Email and LinkedIn steps go out from your own mailbox and LinkedIn account, spread over your working hours. You approve each message, or let the agent run on autopilot.
Why active people are worth reaching first
Someone who posts every week reads their LinkedIn notifications, so a connection request or a message reaches them where they already are. Their posts also tell you what they care about, which gives your first message its subject.
What the name means
Top 5% ICP is the signal's name: the people of your ICP who post the most. Coolie does not measure a share of LinkedIn; it keeps the people who posted about once a week or more over the last 30 days.
Example (fictional)
You sell podcast production to B2B marketing teams, and your ICP is heads of marketing at software companies in the UK.
Coolie finds the Head of Marketing of Fenwick Analytics, 90 employees, who posted five times this month about building an audience.
It scores the lead and, once you pick it, drafts a LinkedIn invitation and an email that start from one of her posts.
Every company and person in this example is invented.
