How the Competitor Profile signal works
Paste your competitors' company pages
Add up to five competitors' LinkedIn company pages. Without one, the signal has nothing to watch.
Coolie reads their audience
It reads each page's posts of the past week, in public, and who reacted to or commented on them. No LinkedIn account is connected for this.
It keeps the people who fit your ICP
Coolie reads each person's LinkedIn profile for their job title, employer and country. Those who match your ICP become leads, each with a score.
It researches the leads you pick
For the leads you choose, Coolie writes a research brief (the company's news, the person, the reason to write now) and a personalized email and LinkedIn sequence.
It writes and sends from your own accounts
Email and LinkedIn steps go out from your own mailbox and LinkedIn account, spread over your working hours. You approve each message, or let the agent run on autopilot.
What to say to them
- Start from the subject of the post they engaged with, not from your competitor's name.
- Offer something useful on that subject: a guide, an answer, a short call.
- Keep the competitor out of the first message: they showed interest in a topic, they did not sign a contract.
Their audience, or their customers?
Competitor Profile finds people interested in what a competitor says. To find the companies that use a competitor's product, just left it, or are likely to renew it, see the competitor signals: Tech Used, Recently churned or trial ended and Competitor Renewal.
Example (fictional)
You sell expense management software and paste the company pages of two competitors.
A post on one of them about travel policies draws a comment from the Finance Manager of Orrin Biotech, 120 employees in Denmark.
Coolie keeps her, as her title fits your ICP, scores the lead and, once you pick it, drafts an email on travel policies that never names the competitor.
Every company and person in this example is invented.
Frequently asked questions
How many competitors can I watch?
Up to five LinkedIn company pages per agent.
Is my LinkedIn account used to read their posts?
No. The posts, their reactions and their comments are read in public, with no LinkedIn account connected.
How is it different from the other competitor signals?
Competitor Profile is about people who engage with a competitor's posts on LinkedIn. The competitor signals are about companies whose software changes: who uses a competitor, who just left it and who is likely to renew it.
How much does it cost?
Coolie starts with a 7-day trial for $1; after it, the Starter plan is $123 a month. The pricing page lists what each plan includes and what credits pay for.
