Signals

Watch your own list of accounts with a yes/no question of your own

Coolie's Custom Signals ask your own yes/no question, such as “Does this company sell to hospitals?”, of a list of company websites you choose. The answer comes from each company's own website, never from what an AI thinks it knows, and each site is read again at least once a week. When a site answers yes, Coolie finds the decision makers who fit your ideal customer profile and scores the lead; for the leads you pick, it writes a research brief and a personalized email and LinkedIn sequence.

How Custom Signals work

  1. Write a yes/no question

Ask something a company's website can settle: what it sells, who it sells to, where it operates.

  2. Add the websites to watch

Your target accounts, up to 100. This signal has no source of its own: your list is the target. The websites are paid for once, in credits, when you add them; removing one and adding it back is not a second purchase.

  3. Coolie reads each site

It answers from the company's own pages, at least once a week. A site that does not say gives no lead.

  4. It finds the decision makers

At each company, Coolie looks for the people whose job titles match your ICP, and gives each lead a score.

  5. It researches the leads you pick

For the leads you choose, Coolie writes a research brief (the company's news, the person, the reason to write now) and a personalized email and LinkedIn sequence.

  6. It writes and sends from your own accounts

Email and LinkedIn steps go out from your own mailbox and LinkedIn account, spread over your working hours. You approve each message, or let the agent run on autopilot.

Questions that work

A website settles what a company says about itself, so ask about that. For example:

  • Does this company sell to hospitals?
  • Does this company ship to customers outside its home country?
  • Does this company offer a mobile app to its customers?

Example (fictional)

You sell infection control supplies and add sixty regional medical distributors' websites with the question: Does this company sell to hospitals?

Coolie reads each site and answers yes for Corran Medical, 80 employees in Scotland, whose site lists hospital customers.

It finds its Head of Procurement, scores the lead and, once you pick it, drafts an email about supplying the hospitals it serves.

Every company and person in this example is invented.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the answer come from?

From the company's own website, never from what an AI model remembers about it. If the site does not settle the question, there is no lead.

How often is a site read?

At least once a week.

Can I ask whether a company is growing?

A website rarely settles that, so the question would give no answer. Headcount Growth and Hiring Velocity ask it for you.

How are Custom Signals paid for?

In credits, once, when you add the websites. Removing a site and adding it back is not a second purchase.

How much does Coolie cost?

Coolie starts with a 7-day trial for $1; after it, the Starter plan is $123 a month. The pricing page lists what each plan includes and what credits pay for.
