How the Hiring Velocity signal works
Choose the threshold
3, 5, 10, 20 or 50 roles or more opened in the last 30 days. Five is where a growth plan beats a replacement hire as the simplest explanation: raise it for companies that are visibly scaling, lower it for smaller markets.
Coolie counts their open roles
It counts the jobs each company posted in the last 30 days, whatever their titles, and keeps those at or above your threshold.
It keeps the companies that fit your ICP
Your ideal customer profile (industry, company size, location) filters the companies before anyone is contacted.
It finds the decision makers
At each company, Coolie looks for the people whose job titles match your ICP, and gives each lead a score.
It researches the leads you pick
For the leads you choose, Coolie writes a research brief (the company's news, the person, the reason to write now) and a personalized email and LinkedIn sequence.
It writes and sends from your own accounts
Email and LinkedIn steps go out from your own mailbox and LinkedIn account, spread over your working hours. You approve each message, or let the agent run on autopilot.
Who sells to a scaling company
- People teams' suppliers: recruiting, onboarding, payroll and benefits.
- IT's: laptops, accounts, security and software seats.
- Operations': offices, equipment and travel.
Roles this month, or people over six months?
Hiring Velocity says a company is scaling, whatever it hires for. Hiring says what it needs, from the roles and words in its posts. Headcount Growth confirms the growth over six months, from the people who joined.
Example (fictional)
You sell an onboarding platform and set the threshold at 10 roles.
Coolie finds Quarry Labs, 220 employees in Germany, which opened 14 roles this month across sales and engineering.
It finds its Head of People and its COO, scores both, and once you pick them drafts an email about getting new hires up to speed in their first week.
Every company and person in this example is invented.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as a role?
A job the company posted in the last 30 days, whatever its title.
Which threshold should I pick?
Five is a sound start. Raise it to find companies that are visibly scaling, lower it for smaller markets.
Can I run it with the Hiring signal?
Yes. Both can run in the same agent: one finds the companies that are scaling, the other the ones hiring for a role you care about.
How much does it cost?
Coolie starts with a 7-day trial for $1; after it, the Starter plan is $123 a month. The pricing page lists what each plan includes and what credits pay for.
